Next on is the review on Laneige 2-Tone-Up Duo kit, it's nice of them that they give several samples packed in a cute mini box! This sample has the most attractive packaging I've ever seen!
They even emphasize on their White Plus Renew Original Essence with the background of its bottle :D so kawaii and creative hehe
From the packaging we can see that it is a duo kit which claims to brightens up your skin up to 2 tones! I really need something that can brighten up my dull skin right now :O
I've read many reviews on this, and some of them mention that it might cause breakouts, so I guess it's worth a try before buying the actual one, since I really wanted to avoid breakouts as much as possible.
Once per month is enough, thanks. :P

Bundled with 3 sample size of the Original Essence, and one Capsule Sleeping Pack.
They were so generous to give me 3 samples of the same essence, so I might have a higher chance to see something different if I were to use it consistently.
Although 3 packets are not enough for a major effect to take place, it is better than just one. Anyway, I've already know that it's an effective brightening product that has got a huge bunch of awards from different countries, so I wouldn't doubt the brightening effects.
What I wanted to know was that will it cause any breakout on my face. Turns out it didn't!
And one packet of the essence was more than enough for my face. Haha.
The original essence was a whitish liquid that was not very sticky. It's very lightweight and gets well absorbed. But somehow it gives an effect on my T-zone, like it became shinier than usual (oilier?) and when I touches it, it wasn't really oily.
But after a few hours, I will see it's like super shiny and I was wondering that if its oil from my skin (because if it is, I would really like to wipe it off my face! Hate oily looking face =_=)
So to get rid of it (just in case it's real oil),
I just dab it lightly with a piece of tissue during my day at school,
with assumption that I'm wiping oil off my face instead of the essence
Because I don't want to waste them ~

It was a new thing to me, I've never seen anything like this!
If you want to use it, you have to open it up (like opening up new contact lenses)
then stir it using something (which I found out very much later that if you buy the whole pack of it, it comes with a mini spoon to stir it)
Then apply it to your face! Hehe.
I know it looked kinda special, like a floating white cream inside the capsule.
It is a white whitening capsule floating inside the clear moisture gel.
This sleeping pack claims to enhance the whitening effect while you sleep. Each package contains 3ml and can be used twice a week. You can even refrigerate it before use so that it will even have a cooling effect! :D
It has a 3:1 ratio which contains 75% moisture ampoule and 25% whitening ampoule. The optimum 3:1 ratio maximizes the whitening effect while you sleep.
The Moisturising Ampoule is the clear moisture gel which leaves your skin supple and emulsified for better delivery of the active ingredients of the whitening capsules.
The Whitening Ampoule contains Laneige's Melacrusher Technology in a smooth cream containing whitening ingredients. It's optimum combination with moisture gel forms a smooth whitening barrier without stickiness, for brighter skin.
It is made of mild formula so it is good for those with sensitive skin :)
The full box comes with 16 capsules and it costs more than RM60++ if I'm not wrong.
Well, I used all of it at once cause I didn't know about the 2 times usage thingy, I was also lazy to store it elsewhere while it's half open.
I mean, bacteria can enter and multiply and if you apply it to your face ..
maybe I'm just paranoid because I study about bacteria .. but hey! It doesn't hurt to put it all on at once :P
Just maybe I will waste more money than usual. Haha. Nevermind.
Since I only have one of it so I can't really comment about it's brightening effects .. all I can say is that my skin feels soft the next day and it was a nice feeling! Like all smooth and bouncy!
When applying it it was quite thick (since I used all of them, funny me),
so it took quite some time for it to be absorbed slowly throughout the night .. During the morning I still felt some of them left on my face. I wonder did it get absorbed or just got wiped off by my pillow? o.O
But I think that Biotherm Aquasource High Density Hydrating Jelly has a better effect on hydrating my face :P
But it's okay since this capsule sleeping mask also provide extra brightening effects instead of only hydrating it, so I may purchase the full box in the future!
