Review - 3CE Cream Blusher

The product I'm gonna review today is the Cream Blusher by 3 Concept Eyes! I've been using it for a while now, and it's time to share my views on this blusher!

So, the color I bought is the Cream Blusher #New Pink~ I bought this because I wanted to have a very natural look with a natural blush. I was hoping to get a blush that will make me look like I'm blushing, literally. :)

Packaging :

The product comes with a simple design that says it all. It comes in a sleek black box with indication of the blush's color at the top. As you can see, I chose the color #New Pink! it comes with a slightly sharp head which you squeeze the body and the product will come out from the tip of the head.

Product Description :

3 Concept Eyes Cream Blusher #New Pink (20g)

Cream blush of creamy and silky texture. Its long-lasting, delicate sheen adds liveliness to your cheeks. It's a cream  blush that give your cheeks a natural and soft liveliness. With its creamy and silky texture, the cream blush applies smoothly. Its water resistance helps keep the bright color long-lasting despite sweat or moisture.

Usage Direction :
1. Take some and apply it on the most prominent part of your cheeks with your fingertip.
2. Spread and smudge the blush starting from the most prominent part of your cheeks so as not to have distinct border of color difference.

Ingredients :

As you can see, it contains silica, which means this blusher huge HUGE NO-NO for those who have sensitive skin!

Somehow, I don't know why it contained fruit extract, but I guess it may be a good thing :)

Also it contained methylparaben, so it's not for those who want to avoid paraben as much as possible.

One unique thing about this product is that it can be used on your lips, too! How good is THAT? You can apply it on your lips after moisturising your lips with a lip balm. Application is easy too, just by applying a small amount and by patting light on your lips, followed by a nude or colorless lip gloss, then you're good to go! The lip gloss is just for a more luscious lips, you can skip that step if you want :)

Review :

Texture : The product is a light pink cream which is super creamy. It's not runny at all, and has quite a thick consistency to it. On my hands, it gives off a very sweet baby pink color, which was completely the same color I saw from the 3 Concept Eyes website! I'm truly satisfied of the color :D

I normally apply it by squeezing a pea-sized amount on the back of my hand, then use my finger from the other hand to blend it out first. After that, I apply on my cheeks by patting it lightly and blending the color out by patting it more so that it blends out without harsh edges. If I wanted a more pinkish look, I can just simply pat more blusher onto my cheeks and it will become super pinkish!

After applying it, I can see that it is a sweet baby pink color that brightens up my makeup look! It's super pigmented and very creamy. I'm absolutely in love with the color! It's a nice light pink that reminded me of pastel pink. I love love love pastel colors. Baby pink, baby blue, mint green.. You name it! I'm so so glad I made this purchase!

As what it claims, it definitely makes my face looks livelier than usual! I look lesser like a zombie now
My mum said it looked extremely natural (when I applied it lightly) and she even thought it was the natural blush from my cheeks. Not red, just natural. :D
With the same product, you can make it look sheer by blending it out, or make your cheeks look totally dolly pinkish by packing up the blusher on to your cheeks.

Throughout the whole day, I didn't see anything wrong going on with my cheeks. It lasted almost 7 hours for me and I was really impressed how long lasting this product is! Not to forget the color is totally my fav!

Not only that, it can be used on the lips as well! I'm yet to try it on my lips because my lips are always chapped and I don't own a lip scrub yet, so I seldom exfoliate my lips. But it's good to think that I can skip buying pink lipsticks now, yay!

I noticed most of its drawbacks stems out of the ingredients. It contain silica, so it's a no-no for those with sensitive skin. (I don't have sensitive skin, but who knows I might start to have one after using silica-containing products for a long time?!)
It contain paraben (methylparaben) which is assumed to be harmful to your health Of course, scientists said that research findings are inconclusive, so I don't know whether products without paraben are a part of gimmick or what. Nevertheless, it is always good to avoid suspected harmful products in our beauty stuffs. I mean, you put it on your face every day! Of course you want it to be clean and healthy and natural etc!

My Verdict :

Pros :

  • Makes my face looks livelier
  • Perfect for the dolly pink cheeks
  • Color shown is the color you get
  • Buildable
  • Long-lasting

Cons :

  • Contains silica and paraben
