Review - 3CE Cream Blusher

The product I'm gonna review today is the Cream Blusher by 3 Concept Eyes! I've been using it for a while now, and it's time to share my views on this blusher!

So, the color I bought is the Cream Blusher #New Pink~ I bought this because I wanted to have a very natural look with a natural blush. I was hoping to get a blush that will make me look like I'm blushing, literally. :)

Packaging :

The product comes with a simple design that says it all. It comes in a sleek black box with indication of the blush's color at the top. As you can see, I chose the color #New Pink! it comes with a slightly sharp head which you squeeze the body and the product will come out from the tip of the head.

Product Description :

3 Concept Eyes Cream Blusher #New Pink (20g)

Cream blush of creamy and silky texture. Its long-lasting, delicate sheen adds liveliness to your cheeks. It's a cream  blush that give your cheeks a natural and soft liveliness. With its creamy and silky texture, the cream blush applies smoothly. Its water resistance helps keep the bright color long-lasting despite sweat or moisture.

Usage Direction :
1. Take some and apply it on the most prominent part of your cheeks with your fingertip.
2. Spread and smudge the blush starting from the most prominent part of your cheeks so as not to have distinct border of color difference.

Ingredients :

As you can see, it contains silica, which means this blusher huge HUGE NO-NO for those who have sensitive skin!

Somehow, I don't know why it contained fruit extract, but I guess it may be a good thing :)

Also it contained methylparaben, so it's not for those who want to avoid paraben as much as possible.

One unique thing about this product is that it can be used on your lips, too! How good is THAT? You can apply it on your lips after moisturising your lips with a lip balm. Application is easy too, just by applying a small amount and by patting light on your lips, followed by a nude or colorless lip gloss, then you're good to go! The lip gloss is just for a more luscious lips, you can skip that step if you want :)

Review :

Texture : The product is a light pink cream which is super creamy. It's not runny at all, and has quite a thick consistency to it. On my hands, it gives off a very sweet baby pink color, which was completely the same color I saw from the 3 Concept Eyes website! I'm truly satisfied of the color :D

I normally apply it by squeezing a pea-sized amount on the back of my hand, then use my finger from the other hand to blend it out first. After that, I apply on my cheeks by patting it lightly and blending the color out by patting it more so that it blends out without harsh edges. If I wanted a more pinkish look, I can just simply pat more blusher onto my cheeks and it will become super pinkish!

After applying it, I can see that it is a sweet baby pink color that brightens up my makeup look! It's super pigmented and very creamy. I'm absolutely in love with the color! It's a nice light pink that reminded me of pastel pink. I love love love pastel colors. Baby pink, baby blue, mint green.. You name it! I'm so so glad I made this purchase!

As what it claims, it definitely makes my face looks livelier than usual! I look lesser like a zombie now
My mum said it looked extremely natural (when I applied it lightly) and she even thought it was the natural blush from my cheeks. Not red, just natural. :D
With the same product, you can make it look sheer by blending it out, or make your cheeks look totally dolly pinkish by packing up the blusher on to your cheeks.

Throughout the whole day, I didn't see anything wrong going on with my cheeks. It lasted almost 7 hours for me and I was really impressed how long lasting this product is! Not to forget the color is totally my fav!

Not only that, it can be used on the lips as well! I'm yet to try it on my lips because my lips are always chapped and I don't own a lip scrub yet, so I seldom exfoliate my lips. But it's good to think that I can skip buying pink lipsticks now, yay!

I noticed most of its drawbacks stems out of the ingredients. It contain silica, so it's a no-no for those with sensitive skin. (I don't have sensitive skin, but who knows I might start to have one after using silica-containing products for a long time?!)
It contain paraben (methylparaben) which is assumed to be harmful to your health Of course, scientists said that research findings are inconclusive, so I don't know whether products without paraben are a part of gimmick or what. Nevertheless, it is always good to avoid suspected harmful products in our beauty stuffs. I mean, you put it on your face every day! Of course you want it to be clean and healthy and natural etc!

My Verdict :

Pros :

  • Makes my face looks livelier
  • Perfect for the dolly pink cheeks
  • Color shown is the color you get
  • Buildable
  • Long-lasting

Cons :

  • Contains silica and paraben

Review - 3CE Skin Tone Control Primer

Onto the next review! A primer by 3 Concept Eyes!

I bought this a few months ago and at that moment I didn't have much time to play makeup (due to exams and assignments). I had the chance of using it frequently only during these two weeks while I'm at home!

Home sweet home. It's so true. I can do whatever I want without worry about anything.
Also, I can play makeup anytime. Yippeee~~!!

Let's just cut the crap and begin the review!

Product Description :

3 Concept Eyes Skin Tone Control Primer #Pure Violet 30ml

This primer helps foundation adhere better on skin and lengthens the longevity of the foundation. Moreover, it gives a brighter skin tone so that you can have a better finish.

This Soft Violet color will brighten up dull and dark skin tone while leaving a youthful and clean skin. It also controls oil while helping makeup last longer. The soft violet color gives a natural, bright, and clean looking skin.

Made in Korea

Skin Type : All skin types

Usage Direction :

Apply basic makeup such as moisturizer and sunscreen. Then, place primer (about 10 cents big) on face by using a makeup brush or sponge. Pat on lightly for a smooth finish.

Tips :
Use a sponge for a natural skin tone
Use a brush for a brighter skin tone

Ingredients :

Made in Korea

Packaging : The primer comes in a round slender tube. You squeeze out the product at one end. This primer actually reminded me of toothpaste. Haha. The packaging is nice yet simple, typical 3CE design at the front. Also, this is the second biggest 3CE product that I got, number one was the full sized Glamour Mist.

Texture : The primer is creamy but not sticky at all. You can see that there is a subtle violet in the primer. After application, my skin did not feel particularly soft nor dry. Provided that my skin is moisturized well enough beforehand. It doesn't have any funky smell nor any specific smell either. At least it's not an irritating smell :)

Review :

How do I look?

My skin is undeniably brighter and more radiant. It's not a very obvious effect therefore
it looked my natural skin tone without making my face appearing too white or pale.
Since the color I chose is to counter my dark and dull skin tone, it does not cover up all the redness on my cheeks. But I was loving the effect so much because the redness that escaped from the cream just appeared on my cheeks as a very natural and sheer blush!
I was very pleased with the outcome :P

I chose Pure Violet because I have dull skin, and it claims to transform dark and dull looking skin into a livelier skin! After application, the redness on my cheeks and T-zone was visibly reduced! Even though it did not cover up the redness completely. And my face looks brighter. I applied it up to the neck level because I don't want to look weird with two different skin tones. It's pretty obvious because I was kinda dark. My mum even told me that the skin tone of my face looked the same as my body. I was super happy when I heard that because that means my face is not THAT dull anymore. I've evolved from a tree into an old book! I was feeling a little bit weird though, because I thought after applying the primer, my face look very much brighter (or whiter) than my body. But she said it looked the same, oh well. Hehe. I'm still happy.

As a primer, it works really well. It definitely made my BB cream and blush more long-lasting. At the end of the day I still can see my baby pink blush on my cheeks!

It controls the oil in my T-zone very well. Throughout the whole day, there's no shine on my T-zone because of its oil controlling properties, and my makeup last whole day. I barely need to do any touch ups!

Another thoughtful thing is that they even come in 3 shades in order to correct different skin tones! It is available in the shades : #Ice Vanilla (for reddish skin), Mild Peach (for yellow-toned skin) and #Pure Violet (for dark and dull skin)

If you were to use your hands to apply it, I think applying it slowly and by half-patting motion is the best way to apply this primer. I've tried rubbing it directly instead of patting it off around my face, and the result is just ... not good. (Maybe I should've followed the instructions and use a sponge) *facepalm*

Applying it on a dry skin will make your skin even more dry and the primer will flake off by itself if not applied properly. I've also experience applying it too fast (I was in a rush) and it became really bad. It will become like rubber residues if I were to rub it too hard onto my face. After applying the Laneige BB Cushion, it became even worse. My makeup was literally flaking all over and the redness of my skin shows through the BB cream. If you were to zoom up closely to my face, you can see that it was really terrible, at least for me.

Why does my neck look fluorescent here?? o.o

I can avoid this by listening to instructions using a sponge to apply it to my face nicely. For faster application, I just dab the primer onto my face and then use the sponge to spread it around my whole face. It gives off a even finish and you can use the sponge to get into hard-to-reach areas like the sides of your nose. I would recommend anyone who buy this primer to use a sponge to apply it. I never tried using a makeup brush to apply it since I don't have any. I don't know which brush will be suitable as well.. so, yeah.

My Verdict :

Pros :
  • Improves skin tone
  • Controls oil
  • Makeup lasts whole day
  • Caters for different skin tones (3 shades available)
  • Best when applied using sponge

Cons

  • Application is at its worst when using rubbing method
  • Cannot use on dry skin (I think that applies to all primer/makeup base)
  • Contains paraben
  • Not a universal shade - you need to choose the right shade for your skin tone

3CE Purchase - Some random stuff :)

I bought some 3CE products from another shop in Facebook months ago,
so this is another late post again!

Just some random stuff from 3CE anyway :)

Soft Square Sponge

Actually I wanted to order the "Finger sponge" but there was an error (In the product catalog of their blog, there were 2 products with the same name "Soft Square Sponge") so the seller sent me this normal sponge instead. The seller didn't realize the mistake as well. I was lazy to complain at that time so I just accepted it, since I didn't have any sponges to apply my newly bought foundation (at that time). SO this was definitely overpriced for a simple sponge, I think it costs around RM19? Brrrr.. I must be blind at that moment. Haha. Need to be more careful about product names next time.

Eyebrow Razor
The packaging came a little bit damaged (squashed?)
but the product was in a good condition. So it's okay :)

I also bought an eyebrow razor since I didn't have one, this was also overpriced for a normal razor. (I think I paid for the brand instead of the product itself, haha) Well, this costs around RM15, pretty expensive for a razor I would say.
I guess I was blinded by the 3CE craze at that moment. :P You know, girls.

Their facebook page is Stylenanda 3 Concept Eyes Malaysia
But they've stopped retailing and turned to agent and wholesale only.
Oh well, we can always buy from somewhere else :)
If you're interested in becoming an agent, you might wanna check them out! Who knows? :D

3CE on Facebook Shops!

Let me tell you a sad story .. that has a happy ending :3

A LONG LONG TIME AGO,
I wanted to buy products by 3 Concept Eyes.
It's a cosmetics line by Stylenanda in Korea,
positive reviews about them are everywhere and even celebrities are raving about them!
Whether if it's their clothes or cosmetics or whatsoever.
I seen many good reviews about their cosmetics 3 Concept Eyes, and it seems like they really comes with quality. However, for me, the products are considered high-end products because of their price! Dammit!

It was in US currency, basically everything just became x3! $ -> $$$
How I wish I can rub my purse and the money inside will just multiply by itself. *sigh*
Not to mention the shipping fee was lik OMG .. since they use EMS so it became even more expensive. And if I use EMS, most likely my parcel will be under customs detention :(

~~  Such a sad story *sniffles*  ~~

HOWEVER!!
As someone from 21st century, in order to combat my sadness,
I didn't wait for my prince to come, nor rubbing my purse waiting 财神 to magically appear.

I went onto a 3CE Haul on Facebook and bought the stuff from agents!
In this way, I can avoid customs detention and receive my stuff happily~
And complain if I don't receive them :P Keke

Hahaha happy ending.

So these are what I got! Hehe~

 Puchsia/Fuchsia matte Lip Stick (RM70)

It has some neat packaging over there *whistles*
I bought this because the color looked really nice on this model (don't know her name tho)

Her skin tone was slightly darker compared to the other photos.
I liked the way the lipstick color turned out.
It wasn't a very neon-ish color that will scare the shit out of people, at the same time,
it really suits a darker skin tone (from this photo) so I really hope I'd be able to pull it off!
*the power of advertising* :O

 Lip lacquer #showtime (RM70)

I was really eager to try out all kinds of lip products ever since my obsession started!
I have really pale lips since I'm slightly anemic,
my lips are always colorless and I looked like a patient instead of a doctor-to-be. =_=

Also, I watched so many Korean dramas and the recent one was You Who Came From The Stars, in which the actress Jeon Ji Hyun has various looks with different colored lipsticks!
It made her look pretty nonetheless,
but it gives her a fresh and the lips became the point of her look.
I chose #showtime because it was a vibrant reddish color with a little bit of peachy undertone.
(Sorry the color brightness was a little bit problematic, it turned out orange instead of red)
I was also curious about the product being a lip lacquer.
No idea what is it so I decided to try it out! :P *spoiled brat detected*

  Cream Blusher #New Pink (RM44)

I bought cream blusher since I've never tried this before (basically I've never tried any blusher)

Also because it's a really super cute pinkish blush! I love the shade it has on the model Park Sora. It is a cream-based blush, so it's easy to apply on your face.

Isn't she pretty? Of course the pink blush color too :P

Pink Kabuki Brush (RM 35)

The brush has this peachy coloured bristles and its even wrapped in plastic!
Super hygienic :D
It came with a really nice mini leather bag with some imprinted patterns on it,
it feels really durable! I hope it will be able to protect my delicate kabuki brush >.<

Square Hand Mirror - Black (RM39)

It has a simple design with the 3CE brand and logo printed at the back.
The wordings has a glossy finish while the mirror itself has a matte feeling to it,
a little bit like rubberized plastic.
The mirror felt really sturdy though,
but I will still try to avoid dropping it onto the ground. Haha.

Skin Tone Control Primer - Pure Violet (RM80)

This is a primer that comes with a skin tone control function. Which means that while applying primer, at the same time you can improve your skin tone! I have really dull skin so I needed something to give my face a little bit of vitality. Hehe.
I chose Pure Violet as it can control my redness and is for warm-toned skin.

Overall, I'm really satisfied of the purchase and since I bought from local agents, I don't have to worry about it not being delivered until my doorstep.
One of the bad things about ordering stuffs from overseas is that you need to keep tracking it and hope that the customs won't hold onto your parcels. Frankly, I was afraid (well, I'm a total paranoid freak when it comes to stuff I love) that I wouldn't get the items, so ordering things from local agents saves up all the hassle.

All of the items were received in good condition and I'm really glad I bought them!
Hehe. Will post reviews about them (hopefully soon enough)!

They have a online store themselves, but I ordered through Facebook pm because it's faster that way :P and I sometimes enjoy interactions with the seller themselves.

Qoo10 Shopping~! 3CE and others!

Another overdue post again ..

My finals is 1 week from now so I would really like to post about my stuffs ASAP because it bugs me so much. My hands get itchy and I wanted to let all of you know about what I bought!
Also the photos are eating up my storage haha.
Time to delete share them with you! :P keke

So these are the things I bought from Honestskin on Qoo10!

I bought a total of 6 items from Honestskin~

 Gel Eye Liner (Glitter Black)

 Glass Gloss

Fresh Aqua Mist

 Glamour Mist

Closeup on the Glamour Mist

One thing special about this Glamour Mist is that it contains glitters! But of course not all glittered or else your face will glow brighter than the star >_<
According to the description, it will make your face sparkling and radiant. Another unique thing is that it is in gel form (not liquid) and I was super curious that's why I bought this :D
Since I was only curious and only bought it for fun, but it don't have a smaller version (like the Fresh Aqua Mist), so I bought a big one instead with the 1+1 promo,
if I don't like it I might be able to give it to someone as a gift! Heheh

Next up is Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel!

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel 300ml

It was also on a 1+1 promotion, I bought this after reading some blog reviews and also because it can be used in many ways! Means I won't waste my money ;)

An incident occurred when I received my products.
The seller sent me the wrong product as I ordered for 1+1 of the Facial Mists, I should be getting 2 full sized product but instead I received one smaller version of the Fresh Aqua Mist. So I contacted the seller, and it turns out that they sent the wrong item and refunded the money to me. I wasn't required to sent back the item, lucky me! :D

I also bought this on Qoo10 from the seller Good Friend

Petitfee Gold EGF Eye & Spot Patch and 3CE Waterful Concealer

Waterful Concealer #001

Petitfee Gold EGF Eye & Spot Patch

When I opened the box, the packaging was really cute and classy with its design *loveatfirstsight*

So that's all about the things I bought on Qoo10! :D

Will be posting some reviews about some of them soon, since I alrdy using them long before this post :O (I received them on the end of March actually. Sorry again >_<)

Shopping experience on KitoBeauty - 3CE products!

Another super overdue post, sorry haha
I was interested in trying out a foundation and feel how it's like,
at the same time I was raving about Stylenanda's 3 Concept Eyes! GRRR

And ... Kitobeauty was having a promotion on 3CE!
(Which actually reminded me of myself resuming this make-up wannabe craziness back again)

I bought 3 Concept Eyes Glossing Waterful Foundation for only RM88!
Great deal right? Muahaha~
Original price ranges from around RM 120-140 ..
depends on the seller in Malaysia :O

Glossing Waterful Foundation Natural Ivory 40g

You can always buy 3CE products at their website :
they do ship internationally.

But I wanted to avoid customs and stuffs cause they use EMS I think.
Which means very high possibility that the customs (my country) will detain it and check
and I might get taxed!!

After getting the product, remember to check out the seal (usually by the side of the cap) to make sure that the product is a real new product :D
Especially if you didn't buy it directly from the website, because we wouldn't want to buy fake stuffs! There are a lot of 3CE imitations made in China and the packaging are extremely similar, I really wanted to avoid getting fake items for the price I'm paying.

Honestly, this is my first time buying in Kitobeauty, I stumbled across it while googling for online shops that sell 3CE products. I was kinda afraid at first, but since they are having promotion so I thought it wouldn't hurt to buy one item (even though it might be fake o.o)
And turns out they sell authentic 3CE products! :D Happy customer here!
From time to time they have promotions for different cosmetics,
usually there will be some 3CE products and some other Taiwan cosmetics like Bevy.C that everyone's raving about!
They sell other stuff like Hanaka and MissHana.
If you're interested you might wanna check it out!
But the website is in Chinese, so .. yeah :X

What I posted is all my honest opinion and in no way sponsored by anyone. I just wanted to share out my experience on buying cosmetics online (there's always a chance of getting cheated by online sellers since you can't touch or see the products in real life). If anything is sponsored (if I'm lucky enough to get sponsored), it will be stated and I will always give honest opinions about my experience, I myself don't like getting cheated into buying something that isn't good.

Also it feels really bad if I ended up buying something from a "sucky" website as nobody said anything bad about it (because talking about it might be a hassle), I would be really pissed off. So, yeah. Lets be fair! Hehe honest opinions help out the companies to know their products AND consumers better too :)
