Qoo10 shopping - Laneige samples!

After using Laneige products for few months now,
I realized that I shouldn't just apply it on my face, I should use it on my neck too!

Onto the story of my sudden realization ...

The reason I realized this is that while looking at myself in the mirror,
I saw a stark difference between the skin tone of my face and my neck.
Holy moley! I look like my face got dipped into white powder!
My neck was so so dark to the extent of extreme weirdness radiating out from me.

Basically, it means that the White Plus Renew Original Essence did a very good job in whitening my face, but I didn't apply it to my neck, hence the difference.
So, I decided I need to buy more Original Essence!
But it was too pricey and I definitely don't want to repurchase the full-size product so soon.
I'm just a student! *whimpers*

I mean, I just used it for a few months now
(only on my face!) and the essence is already finishing up.
I can't blame it though, the bottle was small. I doubt that it can last me a year or over 6 months.

The bottle was opaque, so I can't really see how much essence is left inside.
I guess it's time for me to stock up my essence, so I decided to try the cheaper alternative i.e. BUYING SAMPLES!
I know it sounds stupid, samples are meant to be FREE, but somehow there were sellers selling sample-sized Laneige products on Qoo10 so I was like, why not I try it out?
It would be a good shopping experience anyway. :)

It came in a tiny package like this

And these are all my samples! Arranged very neatly though :P Weeeee!

A quick glance over what I bought this time round!

8 sample bottles of White Plus Renew Original Essence / 10ml (RM76.70)

6 sample tubes of Sun Block Supreme SPF 50+ PA+++ / 10ml (RM41.60)

Also, I bought a total of three Laneige New Cleansing Trial Kit (RM47.20),
which includes the Fresh Brightening Cleansing Oil,
Multi Cleanser and Lip & Eye Remover Waterproof!

It came in a very nice zip lock resealable transparent plastic bag containing all the three products arranged nicely, with a mini card behind it.

The mini card is really cute, but it's all in Korean, I can understand a little,
it's generally about what is included in the Cleansing Trial Kit.  ;)

The seller also gave me some samples! Yippee!
I don't know the function of these samples
but it looks like some sorta anti-aging samples. :)
Gotta research about it soon~

I'm satisfied with the purchase from this seller (White skin).
One thing I regret is that I forgot to ask the seller about the manufacturing/expiry date of the samples. Turns out the samples were either manufactured in year 2013 (Cleansing Trial Kit) or not stated at all.

I convinced myself that the products are still good to use ..
Will be more careful next time :X

*Reminder to self : Ask about the dates before buying anything! Stop being brainless! Ugh

Qoo10 shopping - Skin&Lab!

Sorry for the delays and everything,
I was really busy with my finals and also packing all the stuffs and balik kampung~
Now I'm finally back here, I can do everything that I dreamed about doing during my mental breakdown(s) in finals. Haha. FINALLY!!! I'M OUTTA PRISON

Okay, this is another "haul" post, guess what I bought from Qoo10 again?
Another sale that I can't resist!
The app reminded me of products that were on sale, and as usual, I found something new!

.
Be prepared ... Jjanggg!!
Skin&Lab Vitamin Cream Buy 3 Free 1 Promo!
If you buy 3 Vitamin creams, you will get a free gift!
I'm a sucker for beauty products promotions and free gifts :(
I received this around May, so it's a really late post again

As usual, I received my items in good condition and bubble-wrapped nicely :D

I ordered Vitamin Cream A, C and K, got a free Dr. Spot Clear Don't Worry Wrinkle Spot,
and the seller was generous enough to give me a BOX of Skin&Lab samples!
This is not a new product, just something I really wanted to try out :P

The samples come packed neatly in a little box like this :

The little box taught me not to underestimate it .. because ..

OMGG!!

HOLY COW! LOOK AT ALL THESE STUFF INSIDE THIS MAGICAL BOX

There were LOTS OF SAMPLES inside!
I was super surprised how many samples were stuffed in a little box like this :O

Seriously I got so much samples .. Wondering how can I finish it?
Haha but it's really convenient for travelling purposes :)

This is one of the samples that intrigued me. Red serum?
I wonder why is it named Red Serum :O

 4ever fre-C I wonder what it does?
Have to research a lil'bit about it soon

The vitamin cream samples they gave included all the vitamin creams from the same line!
Vitamin A, B, C, E, and K ~
Each of them have their own functions hehe

Now onto the main product of that I bought~! Hehe
So these vitamin creams are developed by Skin&Lab Dr. Vita Clinic
so that you can take care of your skin at home by using different combinations of vitamins.
That's a incredibly creative thing to do.
You can customize your own creams according to your needs.
It literally means everyone else can be their personal doctor for their own skin!
Seriously, as expected from Korea. *tsk tsk*

The first one is A Plus Lifting

The next one is C Plus Brightening~

And the third cream I bought is K Plus Red-X!

The reason I bought these three creams is because that it seems like if you mix different combinations of creams together, they give off different effects.
So, what can you expect from me?

Of course I chose the ultimate combination that will wipe off the dark circles from my face!
Supposedly, if I were to mix these 3 together, it would reduce my dark eye circles..
I certainly hope so!

Dr. Spot Clear Don't Worry Wrinkle Spot
This is the free gift I got from buying the 3 vitamin cream,
useful for me because I'm starting to have fine wrinkles already (at 21?!)

Until 30th June 2014, when you purchase this 3+1 promo, you will get a free gift of Vita Energy Toner & Mist! (130ml retail sized) which will get your skin ready for the vitamin creams.
So I assume you use the mist before applying the cream :)

I suppose they change the free gift once a month or something,
because I got the Don't Worry Wrinkle Spot instead.
Be sure to check the item details on Qoo10 so that you won't get a free gift that you wouldn't use :> always be a wise consumer hahah

Each Vitamin Cream costs about RM 38.50 and
the shipping fee is RM16.40 via Standard Registered Mail.

I'm really pleased that the seller gave a lot of samples! The samples are super travel convenient. I would say the packaging for vitamin creams are different and they were really sturdy. It's not squishy washy that will break once you step on it.
(Of course I wouldn't step on it! But I doubt it will break because it felt super hard)
If you buy from SKIN&LAB on Qoo10, they even offer Free Gift Wrapping Service for 5 vitamin cream set purchase. Very considerate I would say.

Will post a review about it soon! Hehe.

Qoo10 Shopping~! 3CE and others!

Another overdue post again ..

My finals is 1 week from now so I would really like to post about my stuffs ASAP because it bugs me so much. My hands get itchy and I wanted to let all of you know about what I bought!
Also the photos are eating up my storage haha.
Time to delete share them with you! :P keke

So these are the things I bought from Honestskin on Qoo10!

I bought a total of 6 items from Honestskin~

 Gel Eye Liner (Glitter Black)

 Glass Gloss

Fresh Aqua Mist

 Glamour Mist

Closeup on the Glamour Mist

One thing special about this Glamour Mist is that it contains glitters! But of course not all glittered or else your face will glow brighter than the star >_<
According to the description, it will make your face sparkling and radiant. Another unique thing is that it is in gel form (not liquid) and I was super curious that's why I bought this :D
Since I was only curious and only bought it for fun, but it don't have a smaller version (like the Fresh Aqua Mist), so I bought a big one instead with the 1+1 promo,
if I don't like it I might be able to give it to someone as a gift! Heheh

Next up is Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel!

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel 300ml

It was also on a 1+1 promotion, I bought this after reading some blog reviews and also because it can be used in many ways! Means I won't waste my money ;)

An incident occurred when I received my products.
The seller sent me the wrong product as I ordered for 1+1 of the Facial Mists, I should be getting 2 full sized product but instead I received one smaller version of the Fresh Aqua Mist. So I contacted the seller, and it turns out that they sent the wrong item and refunded the money to me. I wasn't required to sent back the item, lucky me! :D

I also bought this on Qoo10 from the seller Good Friend

Petitfee Gold EGF Eye & Spot Patch and 3CE Waterful Concealer

Waterful Concealer #001

Petitfee Gold EGF Eye & Spot Patch

When I opened the box, the packaging was really cute and classy with its design *loveatfirstsight*

So that's all about the things I bought on Qoo10! :D

Will be posting some reviews about some of them soon, since I alrdy using them long before this post :O (I received them on the end of March actually. Sorry again >_<)

Well, "Q" stands for "Quest", "oo" stands for "Search" and 10 stands for "Perfection and completeness". They claim to deliver 3Q services to their customers -

Now, lets move on to my shopping experience with Qoo10!
I'm an avid online shopper, and overall I'm really satisfied with the services Qoo10 provides.

I was browsing through Google Play store to search for some shopping apps in Malaysia, and found this app (again). Previously I downloaded it but I didn't really get the way it works, also I wasn't sure if it's a trusted seller bla bla and had some misconception about it.
Few months ago I downloaded it back, only to find out it was extremely easy to use, and there were other fun stuffs like the Lucky Lounge etc.

So if you were to download their mobile app "Qoo10 App"
it will be something like this .. *prepare for a spamload of photos* :D

After opening the app, you will come across their user interface:

The homepage button

The search toolbar

Categories of products

From their homepage itself,
you can have a quick glance on their Bestsellers, Time Sale

Daily Deal, Group Buy, Q-chance Sale

 Q Special, Lucky Price

Auction, Brand Zone, Q stamp zone and Roulette Q

There is a user bar at the bottom,
where you can check out Today's Sale, Bestsellers, Lucky Lounge, Cart, Q Box
for quick navigation

Lucky Lounge is the same as the Roulette Q.
It's where you spin a roulette and win vouchers on a daily basis. If you play the roulette everyday, you can get MameQ points (Green, Silver, or Gold) depending on your "attendance card".
Honestly, I think it's so cute and also it's super rewarding as I can use the vouchers to save on shipping and item discounts! That's why I open this app every single day.

You can use the MameQ points to "Shoot your Lucky Price", where if your bidding price is the most unique price, you will win the stuff!
For example for today, under the Lucky Price section, there is an epsilator.
That is what you will win if your price is the most unique price! Hehe. But be aware that the seller might claim that the item is out of stock, as I saw quite a number of people are dissatisfied as they did not receive their prize.

Under Today's Sale, there is Time Sale
in which the products are in promotion price within the limited time.
If there's something you want, be sure to grab it!

Bestsellers give you a guide on what are the best selling products, it changes week to week (or day to day?) and I always find my goodies here :D you can choose your categories at the top toolbar. I usually choose beauty mwahahah
Since it's a bestseller, it means that most of them have good reviews and many people purchase them :)

This is how your cart looks like.
You can use your Cart Coupons on the cart
and Item Coupons on the item for more discount!
Place order if you confirm you are going to order your stuff :)

*******

You really need to be careful while shopping on Qoo10 and watch out for customer reviews. Since there are MANY sellers on Qoo10, you really need to make sure your seller is a reliable one before you make any orders.
Most of the sellers are from Korea, so sometimes at the item Q&A section (where customers post and inquire about the products and other info to the seller), the seller's reply is kinda like .. weird. Its because they are Korean, so they translated their reply into English then posted it.
If you can understand Korean then you'll know why the verbs and nouns are like all terbalik mixed up. Likewise, your questions need to be easy to understand and typed properly, so that they can translate it into Korean and understand what you're asking. Get it? :D
Until now I've seen sellers ranging from Singapore, Japan, China, Korea, and even Malaysia! So sometimes, their English will be correct. :)

I don't really dare to buy from sellers who doesn't have reviews. Likewise, if I really dared to buy an item without reviews and received it in a good condition, I would post a review about it to encourage others to buy the same product! Heheh.

Another thing that I think is that, after you made your payment, the money is with Giosis, and after you clicked "Confirm Delivery", then they'll release the money to the seller. That's my concept, Giosis acts like a middle-man? So be sure to confirm your delivery after you receive your items. Pity the sellers. They sent the parcels all the way from Korea (??) and didn't get their money (??). Haha. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, if they sent wrong or damaged item, let them know in your review or heck yeah, you can even ask the seller yourself whether can get refund or some sort of compensation.
For me, I ordered a 3ce 1+1 Mist which should be 2 Full sized mist, but I got one full sized and one mini Aqua Mist. =_=

I thought I looked wrongly at the item description, turns out the seller sent the wrong item.
The seller refunded the money back into my Qaccount, and I transferred the money back out to my bank account. It was all very convenient and done quickly. Sometimes, if your items are damaged, the seller will send back another same item for you. Well, it all depends on the seller.

If your order is On Request for a long time, it might be because of the item is out of stock and the seller is waiting for the item to be back in stock, and then they will send it out to you.
Anyway, for my case, I ordered something then it ran out of stock,
the seller just cancelled the order himself and refunded me the money
(without asking me whether to keep the order on hold or whatever)

Before this, during my "research mode", I emailed the customs about tax on buying cosmetics and books overseas and ship to Malaysia. They replied after 1 or 2 days, telling me that cosmetics and books are non-taxable. However I've seen on some websites or forums saying that they are required to fill out a Notification form or some sort because they ordered too much cosmetics. Like bulk purchase and combined with families and others .. So I was quite worried.

Just to be safe, make sure your order on cosmetics does not exceed RM 500. Divide them into separate parcels. Better pay for shipping rather than going through all these procedures! They can be really "taxing", you know.

Even if the customs do not claim tax from you, if your parcel is way too big and got unlucky = inspected by the customs, the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Board will hold onto your stuff (since they're cosmetics) and requires you to do MORE procedures in order to get your stuff.
From what I know, you need to have a company to fill in the Notification form, since you buy so many stuff until which they considered import! If you don't get your things, they will destroy it. Means your stuff will go whooosh tata!
Very bad.
You'll be the most dissatisfied customer in the whole wide world!! *yells and flip table*
I know the feeling of paying for it and NOT GETTING IT ..
I myself is anxious for my stuff since the day I placed my order.
Don't wanna disappoint yourself? Then be careful. Hehe.

*******

Overall, I'm a satisfied customer from Qoo10! Shopping is a breeze if you use the mobile app ~
Never regret downloading the app and enjoyed myself browsing through new and fun stuff every single day! And beware of EXTREME SHOPPING ADDICTION with this app. My boyfriend wanted to delete it every single time he sees me browsing thru it again.
Seriously. It can create a huge damn BLACK HOLE right in your pocket.

*******

So these are some of the stuffs I got from Qoo10 :D
Gonna post about them soon!

What I posted is all my honest opinion and in no way sponsored by anyone. I just wanted to share out my experience on buying cosmetics online (there's always a chance of getting cheated by online sellers since you can't touch or see the products in real life). If anything is sponsored (if I'm lucky enough to get sponsored), it will be stated and I will always give honest opinions about my experience, I myself don't like getting cheated into buying something that isn't good.

Also it feels really bad if I ended up buying something from a "sucky" website as nobody said anything bad about it (because talking about it might be a hassle), I would be really pissed off. So, yeah. Lets be fair! Hehe honest opinions help out the companies to know their products AND consumers better too :)
