Review - Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair sample

I only received one sample for Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair (was expecting more :p I’m greedy hehe), and while redeeming it the beauty consultant was very kind to explain about it to me :D and when I asked about the price, she told me it was over RM300!
OMGGG I’m just a student,
RM300 can buy a whole lot of other things that can fill up my stomach T-T
Seriously, women will put something that expensive on their face, I guess.

So if it’s that expensive, I’m expecting something of a super-life-changing-effect after using it hahah I’m sorry, the price just gave me an extremely high expectation.
Sorry Estee Lauder, please make it more affordable, because I really wanted to try more of this product! >.<

This will be a non-photo review because I forgot to take the pictures!
Sorry guys, I was a newbie at that time.
I didn't expect myself to create a blog dedicated to beauty :O
Funny how my obsession changes me all the time :/

This is how it looks like in full size

After cleansing, I applied it on my face and it absorbed really quickly~
The texture was like a liquidy serum .. or toner?
It wasn't sticky or oily, it was just, absorbed completely.
I wondered if it evaporated or what? Hahah.

Anyway, it was 2 months ago so I don't remember what the lady at the counter told me,
all I know is that she guaranteed with me that there will be no breakouts if you're using this product.
I mean, that was quite some confidence that she had in ANR.
She even said that it was especially made for Asians, so it will be compatible with my skin.
I'm like, "Hooray!" Hehe. I hate pimples. :P

But I didn't need to repair my skin actually, I just needed to brighten it up.
OR MAYBE, IT CAN REPAIR MY ACNE SCARS .. (SUDDEN REALIZATION)
SO THAT'S WHAT THE "REPAIR" WORD IS FOR? :O

Fortunately, that lady told me it will also brighten up my face.
But since what I got was only a sample, I can't really comment about the brightening effects .. and others.
I can only tell you that after using it, my skin felt soft and "renewed"?
Haha it was like I totally have a different skin!
The next day after I woke up, there wasn't much oil on my T zone, it felt really good~
(I always wake up with oily T zone and cracking skin)
My skin was soft and it just felt .. different.
Can't really find any words to describe it except soft. Haha sorry for my bad vocab bank.

So that's it for Estee Lauder ANR! Hehe~
Will purchase it after I got a job .. and salary >:)
Maybe by that time it will cost more than RM500 already ..
Because it will be at least 5 years for me to become a real doctor :( so sadddd

*All of these are my honest opinions and I'm not paid to review about it, so no worries everyone! :D

My very first skincare journey~

Let me tell you about my first beauty journey on skincare.

Since my "skincare obsession" started with enough "cash" to spend on anything I want to buy, I wanted to buy the best skincare product/line that I can find in the market. After literally reflecting myself (in the mirror) I see that I have extremely dull skin, and after some googling I found out I have combination skin, that is, dry on the cheeks but oilyyy on the T zone. I don't have any acne problems except during my time of the month, and no dark spots either. Just some small scars or dull spots left from my "acne squeezing period" :(

I know you're hurting yourself if you squeeze your pimple, but honestly, I cannot,
and I mean CANNOT stand a huge pimple looking yellowish reddish popping out of my face and say
"Hi, I'm a huge pimple :)"
to everyone who looks at me. =.= I have a problem with my image, I know.
But how many of us can resist the feeling of not popping out your pimples??!
I can't, so don't nag me!
In the end, I ended up with these little spots right now
which makes me want to tell you,
stop squeezing them!
It will not only hurt your delicate skin but will wreck your beautiful face as well. Seriously.

Okay enough with useless blabbering, after extensive research on my skin and what products I should use, I decided that I will try out samples first, and during that time, Laneige and several other companies like Clarins, Biotherm, were having offers of sample giving and I was extremely delighted!
Of course, who doesn't like free stuff?
So immediately I applied for the samples online,
filled out don't-know-how-many forms and went to Queensbay Mall to redeem them.

Hehe. I'm THAT stingy.

The first sample I got was an Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair sample,
I'm sorry that I did not take any photos of it :(
But here's what it actually looks like in full size :P

Then I got this - 2 Tone Up Duo Kit by Laneige

And also, White Plus Total Luminescent by Clarins

And also some samples from Biotherm - Biosource, Aquasource and Homme T-Pur Intense

That's it! I got quite a lot of samples, didn't I? Haha. I'm greedy and stingy.
Hey, that's how people get rich okay?? >:P shhhh

I'm so in love with samples right now!
They are cute, light, and small.
Good for traveling too.
(when you don't want to have a 1 tonne luggage and bf nagging you about how heavy your luggage is!)
But having sample sized means that you only can try out the texture,
and maybe whether if it's suitable for your skin or not.
I was glad that I got samples first instead of getting the full sized products,
thanks to these generous companies - Laneige, Clarins, Biotherm!
I was able to test them out on my skin before buying them! Thumbs up for them!!
Really appreciate their help in saving my $$$.. HOHOHO! :P (remember, I'm just a poor student..)
